Are you a member of one of our teams and would like to better assist retreat participants in grieving their losses and discovering healing, hope, and renewal?
Our training provides the latest psychological trauma-informed care, somatic and sensory-based exercises, neuroscience, and facilitation information and strategies. In our 2022/23 Virtual Conference, we offered more than 48 hours on courses and live demonstrations like “Approaching the Neuro-Science of Healing Trauma,” “Healing in a Culture of Rage,” “Sleep Deprivation,” “The Vagus Nerve: Putting Theory into Practice,” “Reparative Experiences that Release Trauma from the Body,” and “Recognizing Dysregulated States of the Nervous System.”
Our retreat models, Rachel’s VineyardTM, Grief to GraceTM, and Duty to HealTM,utilize these trainings and continue to be successfully integrated into a wide array of outreach programs that assist people in healing from trauma. Developed by Dr. Theresa Burke, these retreat models were the first sensory-based treatments to fully integrate psychological and spiritual care for the soul, bringing authentic healing and wholeness to people suffering from trauma.
From our beginnings, Dr. Burke has trained and empowered team members through ongoing instruction and education on trauma, psychology, neuroscience, and somatic therapy. In 2022, we launched our first virtual Conference, which enabled participants from around the world to watch the courses online and at their convenience. Whether you’re a member of one of our ministry teams, a mental health or medical professional, pastoral care worker, spiritual director, pregnancy crisis center staff, or a youth and young adult ministry worker, our courses will equip you to better assist the people you serve.
