The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a time for
hors d’oeuvres and fellowship.
We can be changed forever by the grief and bewilderment we experience
following a death, whether the death is of a loved one; a baby unborn; the death of a marriage. There are profound life changes even after the loss of a way of life we were familiar with, the routine, the regularity, the heartbeat of a relationship that beats no longer. An experience of betrayal, abuse, or the loss of innocence.
Join us for a sacred evening to remember the shattering, life changing
experiences of death as we honor our grieving. This will be a special evening to discover, as you remember your own losses, the importance of remembering, rituals, and reflection, with the freedom to gather and pray as we commit to taking steps toward deeper healing. All death leaves a gaping wound in the world.
When this death or loss affects us personally, we retreat and hunker down
to hold back our reality, as it gnaws at our very foundation.
We will explore the work of grieving and reconciliation – its necessity and its challenge – as well as and its sweet assurance of healing and our eternal destiny with eyes of faith and hope. The presentations will be followed by a
SPECIAL HEALING SERVICE.
